Hui-Chun is a graduate from University of Colorado Denver, where she majored in Business Administration. She is also a Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT). During her free time, she likes to play the piano and watch movies.

Mishal is a graduate student in the Integrative Systems Biology Graduate program at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. She attended the University of Maryland, College Park for her undergraduate degree where she studied Cell Biology and Genetics. During her free time, she likes watching movies, exploring restaurants around the city and going hiking!
Dimitrios Stavropoulos, MD
Research Fellow
Dimitrios obtained his MD degree at the Democritus University of Thrace, Greece, where he also discovered the joys of research. He has practiced medicine in diverse settings, such as the military, rural communities, and hospitals. He is committed to pursuing a career in ophthalmology in the US, with a particular focus on medical and surgical retina. He was born and raised in Ioannina, Greece. In his free time, he enjoys watching movies, working out and exploring all that Pittsburgh has to offer.
Chi-Yu Chen, PhD
Post-doctoral Fellow
Chi-Yu hold a Ph.D. from the Institute of Clinical Medicine at National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University, Taiwan. He is major in the research of atherosclerosis, angiogenesis, and vascular restenosis. He is originally from Kaohsiung, Taiwan. He is particularly interested in motorcycle travels and camping. In his leisure time, he engage in coding, enjoy creative pursuits as a maker, and explore the art of cooking.
Joanne Lee,

Joanne is a current undergraduate student at the University of Pittsburgh majoring in Public Health, minoring in Chemistry, and working towards a certificate in Conceptual Foundations of Medicine. She is from the suburbs of Philly and enjoys cooking and crocheting in her free time.
Niki is currently pursuing a master's degree in the Human Genetics program at the University of Pittsburgh. Her undergraduate degree is in Microbiology, which she earned from Azad University - Tehran Medical Science Institute in Iran. She was born and raised in Tehran, Iran. In her free time, she enjoys cooking, playing tennis, and spending time with friends.

Bharadwaj Chirravuri is an MD/PhD student at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine Medical Scientist Training Program (MSTP). He also previously obtained his BS in Neuroscience and History & Philosophy of Science with a Minor in Chemistry from the University of Pittsburgh as well. His particular research background focused on the application of extracellular matrix - derived biomaterials for de novo functional tissue reconstruction and wound healing. Accordingly, he is interested in the intersection between the immune system and tissue regeneration to develop immunomodulatory therapeutics for immune privileged tissues in the central nervous system. In his free time, he enjoys playing soccer, basketball, cooking and coin-collecting.
